Based on Kbsa's 2022 Design Concept competition, the brief was to create a space where a family of 5 with 2 children and their grandmother could share the space together, incorporating home-schooling/work at home office. The main focus will be on the kitchen space.

My concept for this design is adaptability. With a family of five, combining work at home with childcare, flexibility is important. This design features one of Scavolini’s most sophisticated kitchen DeLinea collection, minimalistic and modern contemporary in one. The design features a stained brass handle bar, dove grey lacquered door with a Carrara Quartz worktop in a matte satin finish. It also features a range of storage solutions and space-saving elements, including pull out larder storage and rotating corner shelving. There also features a retractable worktop by the kitchen, perfect for working at home as an office space or a space for the children to do their homework, as well as bar stools for the children to watch and cook with grandma, which could also double as a dining area. On the other side of the open plan space is the living room area for watching TV, as well as a mini bar fit with cocktails and glasses for entertainment.
